These girls work under extremely dangerous conditions. One of the biggest threats to them is the police. So decriminalization will be a huge change for the girls.

The taxi industry has operated for many years without having to pay tax on the majority of their income.
Sex work is very similar being a cash based business. Besides the girls won't have to register a business unless our government is going to make each girl get a permit.

taxy industry is a very aggressive environment, very well connected (Jabu Mabuza former eskom chairperson was a taxy driver :\: ), I don't see them having much power

considering that, RSA is a pretty religious, Christian like country... nothing is going to happen
