Had an appointment with her* today. Had a bad feeling when I parked in front of the lodge (53 William Rd) she uses to host. Place looked decidedly downmarket from the outside. I was seriously contemplating to cut and run when I got a whatsapp voice note from her to cancel due to her child being sick. It was the 1st time I heard her speak, and I realised with I sigh of immense relief that I was saved by the bell. Her voice & her diction, sentence construction and vocab all told me we were from vastly different backgrounds. Not better or worse, just so different that I would certainly not have had any chemistry with her.
This once again reminded me to FIRST have a phone chat of 2-3 min. with a potential WG to ascertain if I had enough in common with her to want to spend any time with her at all, let alone a full 60min.
* Can't give you a link to her, as her ad is not currently running. She charges R500/hr, which probably should have been a red flag to begin with, but being ever the optimist, thinking I can just maybe discover a cheap little gem amongst the dross, I often go forth where angels fear to tread.
