Just a general warning those Punting in the Durban North and Umhlanga areas. I visited two girls this past week and took my car to the car wash and the attendant noticed the locking mechanism on the spare tyre was almost broken off, clearly been tampered with.

Now my Hilux parks in secure places or areas where there is a camera pointing at the car. However, I don't know if I am paranoid and linking it to the Punts I did in Umhlanga and Durban, but some one has tried to steal my spare tyre.

Just keep that in mind when you are punting.
