Five women from Thailand and Korea are expected to be deported soon.

They were found without valid documents at a “massage parlour” in Umhlanga during an intelligence-driven operation by the Metro Police Special Operations Directorate, the SAPS Counter Narcotics Unit and immigration officials.

Investigations are under way to determine if there is a human trafficking link.

There’s a growing number of brothels in middle- to upper-class areas, and these are being identified by police.
