I have replied to a similar thread on a different forum with the same view. For me personally WhatsApp is easier as a starting point for open communication. I can send a message any time, and I expect a reply within 24 hours, not necessarily immediately. As SPs I cannot believe they are busy 10 hours a day with bookings, so I feel they should be using their time to market themselves. If an ad says no WhatsApp messages, I will not even contact the SP. My first contact is not going to be by phone. Being shy and not always available to make calls, makes WhatsApp an easy medium for me. Also, the way an SP communicates, let's me know how she would communicate at a booking

I find ESA very PTA / Gauteng orientated, with less than 200 ads for the whole of Western Cape, then on face value, RV seems more KZN focused. Maybe Captonian Punters don't enjoy sharing

I have started parking in the near-by area at a mall or place.of interest, then catch an Uber to the venue. At least if the car gets damaged or.stolen, it has a valid reason, and my tracking device doesn't land me in trouble 😄
